General Brock / Crowne Plaza Hotel – Then and Now
Jul-14-2010 By admin

The hotel that is now known as the Crowne Plaza was built on a location directly across from breathtaking Niagara Falls in 1929 as the Hotel General Brock, honoring one of Canada’s greatest heroes. It was aquired by Sheraton in the ’50s and operated for over 40 years as the Brock-Sheraton Hotel. In the ’90s, the property was renamed the Skyline Brock, and later named the Brock Plaza Hotel in the early 2000s. Most recently, the resort property was renamed the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview in 2008.
